At Direct Bed, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it subject to the following terms and conditions.

Returns

Customers may return any product that is not open and is in its original packaging within 15 days of receiving the item. The product must be in new, unused, and resealable condition. Directbed reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these requirements.

Restocking Fee

For standard products, a 25% restocking fee will be charged to the customer for all returns.
For custom order products or made to order products, a 50% restocking fee will be charged to the customer for all returns.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping. Customers must use a shipping method that provides tracking information and insurance. Directbed is not responsible for any damage or loss during return shipping.

Refunds

Once the returned item is received and inspected, Directbed will issue a refund for the product cost minus the applicable restocking fee. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Notification

Customers must notify Directbed by email of their intention to return a product within 15 days of receiving the item. The customer must provide the order number and reason for the return. Directbed will provide instructions on how to proceed with the return.

Exclusions

The following items are not eligible for return:
           
          Opened or used products.
          Products not in their original packaging.
          Custom or made to order products that have been produced specifically for the customer. (subject to a 50% restocking fee)

Terms and Conditions for Order Cancellations and Order Changes for Directbed

At Directbed, we strive to provide excellent customer service and the best possible shopping experience. We understand that sometimes circumstances may arise that require changes to be made to an order or even a cancellation. We have established the following terms and conditions for order cancellations and changes.

Order Cancellation

Customers may cancel an order at any time before the order has been shipped. To cancel an order, customers must contact Directbed by email and provide the order number and reason for cancellation. If the order has already been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
               
                If an order is cancelled before production has begun, a 10% cancellation fee will be charged to the customer.
                If an order is cancelled after production has begun, a 25% cancellation fee will be charged to the customer.
                For all RV sizes 3/4 or Custom Cut Mattresses a 50% cancellation fee will be charged to the customer.

Order Changes

Customers may request changes to an order before the order has been shipped. To request a change, customers must contact Directbed by phone or email and provide the order number and details of the requested change. Directbed will make every effort to accommodate the requested change, but cannot guarantee that the change can be made. Order changes can be made at any time but are not eligible for any ongoing promotions if the product has been put into production.

Limitations

Directbed reserves the right to limit or refuse any cancellation or change request. If an order has already been shipped, it cannot be cancelled or changed.

Refunds

If an order is cancelled before the order has been shipped, customers will receive a refund minus the applicable cancellation fee. If an order has already been shipped, customers will need to follow the return policy for a refund.

Payment

For cancellations, Directbed will issue a refund minus the applicable cancellation fee to the original payment method. For changes, Directbed will process any additional charges or refunds to the original payment method. If not possible Directbed use a different method of refunding you. Most refunds will be paid in 3-6 business days.

A lot of online retailers offer free returns, why don't you?

Unfortunately, bedding is not able to be sold again (by law) after it is used since it is a hygenic product. Many other products have resale value after a return while bedding does not.

What is a better option than a return?

Direct Bed provides an excellent 100 Night Exchange guarantee which allows you to swap your mattress for a different mattress if you are not comfortable with your purchase.

Can I bring my purchase back to your warehouse and save return expenses?

Yes, if you bring your purchase back to our warehouse you will save any return shipping fees. Refunds will still be subject to applicable restocking fees.

Why do you have a restocking fee?

As soon as you place your order, we begin to incur expenses to fulfill your order. Everything from non refundable processing fees to warehouse labour and factory production begin within hours of placing your order. These fees must be paid in order to continue to offer excellent products and services to future customers.
